Sharon Patton is a Mortgage Broker residing in Burlington with her two kids, and serving clients across Canada. Specializing in residential mortgages for individuals navigating separation and divorce, purchases and refinances. With over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Sharon is affiliated with Mortgage Architects and holds the Certified Divorce Specialist designation. She is also the Founder of The Separation Network. Sharon's practice philosophy centers on empowering clients with a comprehensive homeownership plan, providing clarity and reducing stress during emotionally challenging times. She helps individuals and families make informed financial decisions regarding their homes, whether buying out a former partner, selling the family home, or purchasing a new residence.
Sharon is also a Certified Reverse Mortgage Consultant, specializing in options for accessing your home equity in retirement. Whether that be through a mortgage, home equity line of credit, reverse mortgage or downsizing. Sharon is able to look objectively at all options and partners with Accountants and Financial Planners so that her clients can be advised of the tax and portfolio implications of each option.
